About

Building influence in leaders and clarity in organizations.

We build the communication capabilities that turn knowledge and expertise into decisions, alignment, and momentum.

Who We Are

It started with brilliant people and buried ideas.

Kindler & Company was founded by Nick Kindler after twenty years coaching executives through their highest-stakes communication moments. He worked with CEOs, founders, scientists, engineers, and physicians — leaders whose expertise was formidable, but whose influence was limited only by their ability to communicate their vision. What he saw was the same in every industry: the idea mattered far less than whether anyone else could understand it.

Soon, executives asked for the same tools across their teams and organizations, recognizing that the ability to create clarity shouldn’t stop with them. Demand for storytelling as a core leadership competency set the firm’s direction, elevating it from a technique leaders used to a capability we build.

Kindler now includes a growing faculty of experienced, enterprise-focused facilitators and coaches. Our work reaches beyond individual moments to the narratives organizations operate from, the invisible stories that shape what people believe is possible.

Nick Kindler

Nick Kindler has spent his career making good ideas heard. An author, coach, and speaker, he is the founder and CEO of Kindler & Company, and for more than two decades he has coached CEOs, founders, and senior leaders on communication and storytelling. He previously led programming for Singularity University and TEDxToronto, where he curated and coached speakers for the main stage.

His two books are the basis of Kindler & Company’s education and philosophy. Impact (2021) set out his method for making complex ideas land. The Narrative Effect (2026) applies the same thinking at the scale of an organization, to the stories that shape how people think and behave.

Nick is also the founder of Impact Talks Toronto, a forum that brings cross-sector leaders together to work through Canada’s most complex challenges, now hosted in partnership with the Rotman School of Management.
